How do I set up Taqwa?

1. Download Taqwa from the App Store
2. Complete the onboarding to personalize your experience
3. Grant location permission for accurate prayer times
4. Enable notifications for prayer reminders
5. Grant Screen Time permission to block distracting apps
6. Select the apps you want blocked during prayer times

Why does Taqwa need my location? We use your location to calculate accurate prayer times for your specific city. Prayer times vary based on geographic location. You can also manually enter your city if you prefer not to share your location.

How are prayer times calculated? Taqwa uses established Islamic calculation methods. You can choose your preferred method in Settings, including:

• Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)
• Muslim World League
• Egyptian General Authority of Survey
• And more

My prayer times seem incorrect. What should I do?
